Oscar Cagoule: What a nice surprise! Having read the rather negative reviews, I was moderately keen to visit this place... I tried the MonteCarlo, but I still wanted to know the Centaurus which was a few streets from my accommodation. The place seemed very clean to me, a hostess actually came to help me put on my bathrobe, but she was not at all pushy, and was rather cute: I already placed her in my top 5. Then I had time to shower in very clean and pleasant bathroom. Entering the escorts' salon, I saw practically only beautiful, slim, sexy and elegant women! My pretty girl detector got excited and immediately selected Amanda: distinguished, discreet, classy and very beautiful. Amanda I really enjoyed our meeting, you are wonderful. If I could I would have come back every day to see you again, but I had to leave Rio the next day. Thank you to Centaurus for your welcome and well done! XXX from Paris.

Grigory Plakhotnikov: I am a tour guide so sometimes I took my clients to this place. It’s quite popular, but my experience has rather been negative. They do take advantage of “gringos” and tourist in general, for example, my client wanted to spend 40 minutes with a girl but in a better room; he upgraded, and they charged him not only better room but also 60-minutes of girl’s service, claiming that it’s “obligatory” for a better room. Total rip-off. On the positive side, there are plenty of pretty girls, especially starting from 21:00 when the place gets quite busy. Prices are for tourists (see the photo attached) - the minimum you can pay is 690 reales (40 min), but for sure they’ll try to charge you way way more.

V. S.: I have been there several times over the years and have experienced many of the positives and negatives described in the other reviews. (+) the positives (+): +1) there are always lots of beautiful women here, most of whom are friendly.. +1.5) from my experience the client-to-woman ratio has often been outstanding after 9pm on weekdays. +2) The facility is very clean and large with very nice spa, pool, and amenities. +3) The rooms are very comfortable. +4) The actual bar area where everyone congregates is very spacious and comfortable (unlike some other termas). (-) the negatives (-): -1) This place is more expensive than the other termas. -2) there will be a woman (provider) waiting for you at the entrance of your locker room after you pay your entrance fee... she will offer to assist you, watch you undress, and then she will follow you around and stay by your side until you ask her to leave. She'll always be friendly, but ultimately she's just trying to get you to "choose" her before you have a chance to meet any of the other women. This practice might have its benefits, but it's mostly annoying. -3) Lastly, the front desk management/staff has a history of being rude, impatient, and unfriendly. NOTE: Maybe something changed... because I went there last week and the front desk management/staff were very patient and welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised. I would like to give a 5/5, but I'm giving 4/5 stars because the frond desk management/staff has a history of being rude, impatient, unwelcoming. If they maintain this improvement then I'll definitely raise my score to 5/5.

JB (Solo bolo): Good atmosphere and clean place. What ever type of lady that you’re looking for you can find. Only negative for me is that they send a girl down to the locker room to assist you and then she will try to stick to you.

Captain K: I will say that there are some negatives and positives, so the negatives first. I did not like that when you go to change into the robes there are what appears to be random girls there to "assist" you in changing. First of all it is not necessary. Secondly being a big guy, I asked one of the girl attending to me for a larger robe but she did not seem to even care and dismissed that I was asking for one. Secondly, I did not like that after making a selection in order to pay, I had to go back to my locker to get my credit card. It made me wonder what was the point of the card I was issued upon entry. So those are the negatives. On to the positives. The women were in abundance, beautiful and stunning, every flavor you can think of was there, simply outstanding. The facilities were excellent and despite the negative aspects I did have a great time.
