Christine Jackson: Santa Vista Rio is the best guest house to stay while in Rio de Janeiro if you want accommodations of a comforting, soothing spa experience, all the sun with a cool pool, a wonderful view of Christ the Redeemer, beautiful mountain views of the city, spectacular sunrise and sunsets, delicious food, lots of fun and a very very helpful charming staff❣️ They made sure we received everything we needed with a smile and laughter😍 We almost canceled due to condescending reviews... We did not see or have any of these remarks happen while we were there for five days. All in all, our time at Santa Vista Rio was enjoyable, and a special experience ✨️

Victoria W: We are absolutely amazed by this boutique hotel! We stayed for two nights and enjoyed the wonderful view of Rio from our spacious room with a hot tub! The stuff was incredibly friendly and helpful! The breakfast on the patio with a view of Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf mountain was very delicious! If we ever come back to Brazil THIS is the place to stay! Thank you!

Maria Cunha: I've never stayed here, but I was planning to get 5 rooms for my family and other friends. Unfortunately, after reading so many bad reviews (here and other websites) we decided not to. I did a bit of research and it is right by a favela, which I dont think I'd recommend someone to stay, especially a foreign. (Im brazilian btw). Anyways, I hope they invest in doing some upgradings and deep cleaning around the place, so we can come back and visit, until there it's a no for us especially considering how much they upcharge :(

Yuva S M: Beautiful views from rooms that are designed elegantly and speak highly of the care and attention to details that hotel owner has paid to. The view from this spot at all times of the day are beautiful and highly recommend staying here in this neighborhood to understand clearly how Rio is so diverse and rich when it comes to different neighborhoods.

Luca Bisoni: Excellente boutique hotel in Santa Teresa! The views are stunning and the staff very warm. Highly recommended for many other reasons too. It's safe and located near the center of Rio, Christ the Redeemer AND, of course, Santa Teresa Largo dos Guimaraes. Would love to come back soon.
